To support and enable our growth, we are looking for a high energy, results-driven, and experienced individual with a proven track record in the role of Engineering Foreman.

We invite applications from experienced incumbents who have the right attitude and drive to take up this role and play an active role in driving the Township Engineering team at Black Mountain Mining. The incumbent will be responsible for daily operation and maintenance of the town and to manage electrical, instrumentation and mechanical work of the water purification plants and pump stations.


We are currently in the process of identifying high caliber candidates within the Engineering Department space. A minimum of 5 years experience in a similar role is required. The ideal candidate will have a valid electrical qualification to be appointed in terms of the General Machine Regulations as a Competent Person supervising machinery and equipment as per Regulation 2.(5)(b) of the OHSACT. Candidates should be electrical qualified as per the said regulation and any mechanical and instrumentation knowledge will be a further advantage.


As the Engineering Foreman, the incumbent will be responsible for all daily operation and maintenance of the town which includes all buildings and premises as well as the maintenance of 2 purification plants and 4 pump stations, including electrical, mechanical and instrumentation work. The incumbent should know Scada systems and the working thereof and will be responsible for the managem ent of discipline within the section. H /She will also be responsible for the mechanical maintenance and repair of pumps, pipelines and all mechanical equipment falling within the domain of Town Engineering.
