WHAT YOU WILL DO
- Responsible to manage and direct the engineering disciplines of all Project Packages of the Refinery Conversion Project in Skorpion Zinc (Rosh Pinah, Namibia)
- Assure the inherent safety and integrity of the design, analyses and technical deliverables through the application of sound engineering and technical principles, data and information management, engineering standards, review systems and controls.
- Ensure engineering and design work complies with regulatory, licenses and permits, industry standard and project engineering and technical requirements.
- Ensure that engineering and design risks are identified, analysed, evaluated, resolved and communicated.
- Ensure that technical solutions embody agreed design for safety, operability, maintainability and constructability objectives.
- Responsible for all decision making relating to Engineering in start up & commissioning the project.
- Responsible for Engineering integration & interphase management of the complete project.
- Responsible for quality management and assurance of designs, supplies & construction activities at site.
- Ensure resource availability and allocation.
- Execution of project milestones within approved budget & time.
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Engineering or related field.
- Registered Engineer (Engineering Council of Namibia)
- PMP and / or MBA or equivalent would be advantageous.
- 10-12 Years experience.
- Proven working experience in projects & execution through EPC/Construction partners.
- Project Management skills, Strategic Engineering planning/ implementation.
- Industry best practice in terms of engineering.
- Experience in Cost control & Claim management.
- Experience in completing projects within budget.
- Experience in Planning project resources and Coordination of internal resources and businesspartners for the flawless execution of projects.
