WHAT YOU WILL DO

  • Provide leadership to the operation team to ensure achievement of identified Department KPIs and to provide effective mentoring and training programs to enhance team development.
  • Manage the installation and maintenance of systems to provide management with accurate and timely operations records, information, and advice to optimize management of training and development interventions.
  • Ensure that adequate processes and resources are in place to comply with training interventions and compliance with client requirements.
  • Maintain an internal control environment that meets the highest standards.
  • Formulate annual business plans, and long-term plans, along with developing technical training interventions and models for use in three- and five-year planning.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

  • ODETDP Level 5 Qualification.
  • Technical Engineering/Mining Qualification.
  • Moderator and Assessor Qualifications.
  • Managerial qualification.
  • Minimum of 5 years technical training experience of which 2 to 3 years must have been in a managerial capacity, preferably in a mining environment.
  • The ability to obtain a Certificate of Medical Fitness.
