WHAT YOU WILL DO
- Responsible to effectively ensure optimum plant availability and runtime by implementing the maintenance strategy plans.
- Identify equipment/procedures not working in accordance with specifications, analyze the cause and draw up action plans.
- Make proposals on plant or equipment redesign or modification to optimize plant processes.
- Comply to or with and maintain legal responsibility.
- Ensure and oversee efficient and effective people management and manage training activities in the department.
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
- Mechanical/Electrical Engineering qualification.
- Government Certificate of Competence (Mines and Works)
- Minimum 7 years general engineering experience at a mine, of which at least 3 years have been spent in an engineering management level.
- A valid Driver’s License.
- Must be able to obtain a Certificate of Medical Fitness.
