WHAT YOU WILL DO

  • Responsible to effectively ensure optimum plant availability and runtime by implementing the maintenance strategy plans.
  • Identify equipment/procedures not working in accordance with specifications, analyze the cause and draw up action plans.
  • Make proposals on plant or equipment redesign or modification to optimize plant processes.
  • Comply to or with and maintain legal responsibility.
  • Ensure and oversee efficient and effective people management and manage training activities in the department.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

  • Mechanical/Electrical Engineering qualification.
  • Government Certificate of Competence (Mines and Works)
  • Minimum 7 years general engineering experience at a mine, of which at least 3 years have been spent in an engineering management level.
  • A valid Driver’s License.
  • Must be able to obtain a Certificate of Medical Fitness.
