WHAT YOU WILL DO
- Manage and oversee the plant equipment availability, maintenance and optimization.
- Maintain legal standards on plant machinery, plant structures, tanks, boilers and pressure vessels.
- Identify equipment/procedures not working in accordance to specifications, analyze the cause and draw up action plans.
- Implement CI initiatives by keeping abreast of developments and introducing change in work processes where appropriate (cost reductions and cost avoidances).
- Review and update Maintenance policies and procedures in line with governance principles and changes.
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
- Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
- Government Certificate of Competence (Mines and Works) will be advantageous.
- 6 years general Engineering experience, of which 3 years must have been in an Asset Management or Mechanical Maintenance function.
- Driver’s license.
