WHAT YOU WILL DO
- Responsible for the management of the Processing Plant Dayshift Team, upholding safety standards and complying with all relevant legal responsibilities.
- Do overtime, occasional shifts and standby duties when required and manage relevant projects within the section.
- Work in a team and contribute to the team’s performance, growth and morale.
- Work under pressure and set high standards in the quality of work.
- Perform work on heights and in confined spaces.
- Responsible for controlling and planning the department’s financial budget.
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
- N3/N4 or Higher Qualification in Plant Processing.
- 5 years or more in a Supervisory role.
- Qualification in Chemical Engineering or Extraction Metallurgy will be advantageous.
- Previous experience in a Processing Plant environment is essential.
- Experience in PLC/DCS knowledge and programing will be an added advantage as well as experience with Cimplicty (GE).
- A valid code B driver’s license.
- Must be able to obtain a medical fitness certificate.
