WHAT YOU WILL DO
- Reporting directly to the Chief Technical Officer, the incumbent is responsible for ensuring that the Collision Prevention project for BMM and Gamsberg is defined,costed and managed correctly to optimize efficient implementation at a reasonable and cost-effective manner, whilst ensuring the safety and required compliance as per statutory and company requirements.
- Evaluate and manage capital expenditure to ensure that projects are achieved within the expected timeframes.
- Ensuring functions of Internal Controls and liaise with Internal Auditors to improve overall Internal Control Environment.
- Ensure and Oversee efficient and effective people management and lead project teams.
- Risk/SHE Management through practice of safety practices and principles in area of responsibility
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
- Project Management Certificate (PMP Certified); Related tertiary qualification will be advantageous.
- Demonstrable knowledge of the best Project Management Practices.
- Control and Instrumentation knowledge as well as knowledge on integration of software and systems.
- Trackless mobile machinery for Mining Operations.
- Collision protection systems and processes.
- Computer Skills on MS Office and MS Projects.
- MHSA and MOSH Traffic Management Principles.
- Valid code 8 driver’s license.
- Must be able to obtain a certificate of medical fitness.
