WHAT YOU WILL DO

  • Risk Assessments on production activities and compile reports on same, assist operational teams in critical risk management processes conduct critical control audits as well as legal audits.
  • Provide advice to line managers on risk exposures in production and safety meetings.
  • Conduct inspections and write reports.
  • Promote and manage the company/Group Safety policies and standards by ensuring compliance by colleagues and BP’s.
  • Conduct incident/accident investigations by using a centralized framework and assist management during investigations.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

  • COMSOC 1 & 2.
  • Trade or Blasting certificate
  • 5 years working experience as a Safety, Health and Environmental Officer in a large industrial environment of which 3 years should have been in Opencast Mining.
  • Exposure on ISO management systems or any other recognized SHE system.
