WHAT YOU WILL DO
- Responsible to prepare, review and evaluate reserves, mine designs, mine plants, ore control, project feasibility and productivity studies.
- Ensure that the site mining operations are planned and scheduled in a manner that maximizes the value of the resource whilst considering safety, business risk and market demand.
- Ability to visualize and communicate mine designs using specialized mine design software.
- Proven leadership and strong negotiation skills.
- Advance level of technical communications, personal interaction and presentation skills, ability to collaborate effectively with other departments.
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
- BSc. Mining Engineering Degree or Equivalent
- Minimum of 3 – 5 years experience in underground environment.
- Software 2D and 3D Planning packages.
- Deswik would be an advantage.
- Scheduling (Short, Medium and long Term)
- Ms. Office experience.
- Must be able to obtain a Certificate of Medical Fitness.
- Valid code B drivers’ licence.
