WHAT YOU WILL DO

  • The full training cycle in the Mining Department i.e. training needs identification, design and development of training programs and the evaluation of training.
  • Conduct classroom and on-the-job training.
  • Conducting of formal assessments.
  • Moderate assessments as and where required.
  • Manage Training Instructor(s)
  • Responsible for accuracy of training records for all Mining.
  • Source, Evaluate and manage external training.
  • Produce regular/on-time and ad hoc training reports.
  • Assist with compilation of Workplace Skills Plan (WSP) and Annual Training Report (ATR)
  • Ensure quality of learning takes place and is monitored at all times.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

  • Certificate Occupationally Directed Education Training and Development Practices (NQF Level 4)
  • Blasting Certificate for scheduled mines/ Relevant Mining Skills Programmes.
  • Matric/Grade 12.
  • Assessor –MQA Registered.
  • Moderator-MQA Registered.
  • 3 Years’ relevant experience in a Mining Training Environment.
  • Valid Code 8 Drivers License (must be able to obtain a mine vehicle license)
  • Must be able to obtain medical fitness.

  • Remuneration will be according to qualifications and experience and will include competitive conditions of employment.
  • Short-listed applicants may be required to undergo relevant psychometric assessments and background checks.
