Opened in partnership with the Northern Cape Provincial Government, the JF “Boeboe” van Wyk Oncology Centre brings life-saving cancer treatment closer to communities in the Namakwa District. Located at Dr Van Niekerk District Hospital in Springbok, the facility features 10 chemotherapy stations, with the capacity to treat up to 250 patients per month, reducing the need for patients to travel 400 to 1,200 km to access specialised care. The project reflects VZI’s commitment to creating lasting social impact and strengthening healthcare services in the Northern Cape.
